Starbucks app is very popular, Apple considering Airplay expansion, Microsoft embracing iPhone

Starbucks has been offering its app on the iPhone and the Blackberry for a while now that lets people pay with their smartphone by scanning a bar code. Apparently, the app is very popular. Starbucks recently announced that more than 3 million people have used it.
Apple has announced that it is considering the expansion of AirPlay licensing to allow for more video streaming. The move might allow you to stream flicks from your iPhone directly to your TV with no box by licensing the tech to TV makers.
Microsoft is embracing the iPhone with a new tool called the System Center Configuration Manager 2012. The software will launch later this year and will manage Windows, Windows Phone, iPad, iPhone, and lots more devices.
