KP Assembly adopted unanimously a resolution against the drone attacks

PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly Monday adopted unanimously a resolution against us drone attacks in Pakistan on Earth, Geo News reported.

Bashir Ahmed Bilour, a provincial Minister, filed a resolution in Assembly KP, condemning that us drone strikes on Pakistan's tribal region.

The resolution describes the attacks of drone being counterproductive which kill innocent citizens of Pakistan.

Provincial Government will not accept dictated no power against attacks of predators, said the resolution.

The Assembly had requested the Government Federal Monday to convene the US Envoy to Pakistan to end of drone strikes the request.

The resolution also demanded that the United States hand on UAV technology in Pakistan so that civilian casualties could be reduced.

He stated that drone attacks are against the sovereignty of Pakistan and, accordingly, could not be tolerated.

Occasionally, the leaders of the PPP Abdul Akbar Khan, Nighat PML - Q and Assembly of the members debated on the resolution.

Also, members of the opposition protested against the resolution, saying: they were not taken into confidence on it.

Subsequently, members KP Assembly adopted unanimously the resolution at the session.
